Q: Can you track subfolder domains?

I'm trying to track a business (hotel) whose domain is a subfolder of its brand, and the name of the advertiser is the brand. In both circumstances it will not discover Google ads. Is it possible to isolate the hotel buy its name (again does not show) or its url (does not show) or brand name or TLD, (does not show for them either).

A: Hey there, good question, and thanks for laying out everything you tried!

For Google, ads are tied to the verified advertiser in Google's Ads Transparency Center, and that's usually the main brand or legal entity rather than an individual property or a subfolder of the domain. So when a single hotel sits under a parent brand, Google generally groups everything under that brand, which makes it tough to isolate just the one property's ads by its name, URL, or subfolder.

That said, since the brand name itself isn't bringing anything up either, it's also possible this advertiser simply isn't running Google ads that currently appear in the Transparency Center.

If you can share the exact brand and domain you're testing by emailing it to support@adpeekr,com, I'll happily check it on our end and tell you what we're seeing, that's the quickest way to get you a clear answer.

Cheers,
Bas
