A lot of possibilities, great value, but the UX still needs work

I've been following AnyChat since the day it launched on AppSumo. And for a long time, I was waiting for one particular feature: Comment-to-DM automation.

Now that it's finally here, I've returned to AnyChat. And I'm glad I did.

I've tested and purchased more than ten different chatbot platforms over the years. Some look impressive on paper but fall short when you actually start working with them. Others have beautiful interfaces but become expensive the moment you want to scale.

AnyChat gets something important right: the value of what you actually get.

I purchased Tier 3, and I'm glad I did. Unlimited conversations, unlimited canned responses, and extensive connection options make it particularly attractive for agencies managing multiple clients alongside their own websites.

With Comment-to-DM automation now available, AnyChat covers most of what I need from a customer communication and automation platform. Voice support is still missing from my ideal setup, but the overall functionality is impressive for the price.

So why four tacos instead of five?

The UX.

As someone who works with UX and product design, I pay attention to how a platform helps users understand where they are, what they can do, and what happens next.

And this is where AnyChat still needs work.

Navigating between workspaces isn't always intuitive. It's not immediately obvious which workspace you're working in or where to create a new chatbot. The underlying information architecture and navigation logic could be much clearer.

These may sound like small details, but when you're managing multiple client accounts, that confusion adds unnecessary friction. A platform with this many capabilities needs an interface that makes them easier to discover and manage.

The good news? The founder listens.

Andrey has been responsive, support times have been good in my experience, and issues I've raised have been addressed. More importantly, seeing previously requested features actually make it into the product gives me confidence in its direction.

After trying more than ten chatbot systems, I'd put AnyChat among the strongest value-for-money options I've used.

Is it perfect? Almost. Does the UX need another round of thoughtful design? Absolutely.

But the functionality is there, the pricing is compelling, and the product keeps improving.

My advice? If you're running an agency or managing customer conversations across multiple channels, AnyChat deserves a serious look.

Four tacos today. A more intuitive UX could make it five.
