I've just tested AssistLoop on your free tier and it seems really good! I'm currently using orimon.ai from another AppSumo deal but they don't seem to be actively developing these days unfortunately.

This is a hypothetical question for me because I don't think my small charity sites will reach the limit. But if they do get a lot of conversations in one month and use all the credits, what would happen? Would the bot(s) just stop working? Is there an option to buy one-time credits, or even a BYOK type option?
