Hi,
Which code bases it will work with? For example Python (which version), Java script, Linux, R ?So if I use natural language instructions, can it. Uild web applications, mobile apps and help in creating AI agents which I can connect to LLM? What is completion certificate? Which models are available and will be included in future without bringing my own LLM? Why can't I do this work directly with claude?

Oct 29, 2026A: Hi! Build mode works with any language, including Python, JavaScript and R. Learn Mode teaches Java for now, with more languages coming. Hosted models are included (Nemotron 3 Super and gpt-oss-20b), and bringing your own key is optional and unlimited. Unlike using Claude directly, Contral teaches you while it builds, so you actually learn. More is coming at contral.ai/roadmap.

Thanks for the follow-up! Python Learn Mode is expected in the last week of December. Build mode currently runs mostly on open-source models (Nemotron 3 Super and gpt-oss-20b), and Smart Auto picks between them by default. You can also bring your own API key for unlimited use. Upcoming features are on contral.ai/roadmap.

Hi! Open your project folder in Contral (IDE or VS Code extension) and click "Learn this codebase" for a guided tour. Plain Python and conda projects work; there's no Jupyter or Colab integration yet. Build mode can write your loan-approval agent as normal code that calls an LLM (with your own API key) and an MCP SDK, and the extension supports MCP servers via /mcp.
