Clean, intuitive, and a huge time-saver for freelancers!
We’ve been using Fynlo for our bookkeeping, and it has been a breath of fresh air compared to more bloated accounting software. The user interface is incredibly intuitive—you don't need an accounting degree to navigate the dashboard or understand your P&L.
The AI receipt scanning and Google Drive integration are the standout features for us as we currently use smartclerk.ai and testing tabby.ai. Even though we have not yet tested the feature of being able to just drop files into a folder and have the system extract the data automatically has cut our manual entry time down significantly. The invoice designer is also top-notch, allowing us to send professional, customized invoices in seconds. This is a very useful feature.
The One Missing Piece: While we are very happy with the current functionality, the biggest "missing link" for us right now is the ability to connect directly to our bank accounts. Manually uploading CSVs or using the AI to scan statements works as a temporary fix, but a live bank feed would make this a 5-star, "perfect" tool.
I’ve seen on the roadmap that Plaid/Bank Integration is listed as "Coming Soon"—we are eagerly waiting for this! Once that live sync is live, Fynlo will be unbeatable for small business owners.

Extremely user-friendly and clean UI.
AI extraction for receipts is accurate and fast.
Professional, customizable invoicing.
Cons:
Still waiting for live bank/credit card syncing. Hopefully, this feature will be available soon.
