Our non-profit, non-commercial educational institution purchased the Tier 5 license of GSpeech in order to provide text-to-speech capabilities on the websites we've set up for our members (who are themselves organisations and clubs).

As many other AppSumo buyers have already noted, the level of service provided by Simon & GSpeech is truly outstanding. Careful, thorough, patient, and clear.

We experienced some awkwardness with the initial set-up, but now feel quite comfortable with all the buttons, sliders and options.

The selection of quality voices is good. The diction is clear and not "robotic".
Many of the voices allow pitch and speed control.

Credits are only consumed when the initial text-to-speech conversion happens.
In other words, credits are not consumed every time a visitor has GSpeech read a page.
If the text on the page is altered/updated, GSpeech will detect that, and reprocess that page as if it's a new page.

The embedded player is easy to customise. It has no GSpeech branding.
Words that require special pronunciation -- such as abbreviations -- can be individually defined.

The founder has a very strong commitment to continual refinement and improvement of the platform, which means that, over time, it will get even better.

We're very happy with GSpeech and are happy to recommend it.

As a lecturer at a German university, I’m absolutely thrilled with GSpeech! I mainly use it to localize our e‑learning content and make it more accessible for our growing number of international students.

The features GSpeech offers are outstanding – high‑quality audio output, flexible customization options, and a smart system that efficiently manages audio playback. I particularly appreciate that rendered audios can be reused as long as the content doesn’t change, which makes the AppSumo lifetime credits go a very long way.

There’s a short learning curve at the beginning, but overall, the platform is very intuitive and self‑explanatory. The support team has also been fantastic – I reached out twice and received extremely fast and genuinely helpful replies each time.

I’m also really looking forward to the upcoming update of the GSpeech dashboard, which will allow users to create audio directly from typed text, without having to embed it into a webpage first. This feature will make the platform even more versatile, both for educational purposes and beyond.

From my perspective, this is a clear recommendation – GSpeech is a powerful tool for anyone looking to make e‑learning materials more accessible and international!

I had a bit of a problem setting it up, but customer service resolved the problem.

I'm not technical by any means and the team at GSpeech were instrumental in getting GSpeech working in our Shopify store. What's more, there is no GSpeech branding, making the user experience clean and advert free.

I'm still finding my way around all the widgets and settings (it is highly configurable) but got it to work on my wordpress 'posts only' fairly easily. I love the look I've created. Simon helped me with resetting my account, as I couldn't see all the voices, and wanted a particular one that fitted my UK business. Sounds a bit like me so feels like it is on brand.

Very quick and friendly support and I look forward to using on other websites of mine.

The AI wasn't able to pronounce a business name (I don't blame it, is is a Celtic language word!). In the Alias settings you can tell it how to pronounce words. I'm not sure that is exactly what it is for but it worked for me.
