Hi there, I am in need to track the clicks statistics on 3 buttons created in directory listings (custom post type) for WhatsApp chat, phone call and google direction buttons. Can linkcentral help with it?

A: Absolutely! You can create a separate LinkCentral link for each button (WhatsApp, phone, and directions) and place those links behind your buttons in the directory listings. LinkCentral will track every click automatically. This works with any custom post type, and if you are using Gutenberg or Elementor you can also use the built-in button integrations. Other page builders are supported as...
Thank you Jordy. I have another long back purchased Appsumo JotURL. Can you pls help me share comparison pls. If I purchase linkcentral, it would be 3 codes. Thanks in advance.
I'll try, I only have 400 characters here 😉 LinkCentral is a WordPress plugin, so everything, including all data, stays private and under your control. With JotURL, you rely on their platform. Because LinkCentral runs on your own website, it offers extra features like automatic keyword linking, page builder integrations, + 10 variables for dynamic redirects and more. Feel free to ask if unclear!
Amazing, thank you for your support! Yes, analytics data can be exported using the Export Data button on the Import/Export tab in the settings. At the moment, this export is in JSON format and is intended primarily for re importing data. Support for additional formats (e.g. CSV), is in our backlog. You can follow or vote on this feature too: https://linkcentral.sleekplan.app/feedback/252736

A: Thanks for your question! At the moment, an uncloaking option is not available. This is mainly due to how LinkCentral currently handles dynamic redirects. It is something we are considering and have on our roadmap for further investigation, but I cannot promise a timeline yet.
I set up links using a different plugin. Can I import them to LinkCentral? Will the linkcentral makes website heavier?

A: Hi, thanks for your question! Yes, LinkCentral supports importing links from other plugins. You can import with one click from ThirstyAffiliates and Pretty Links, and support for MyThemeShop is coming next week. If you're using a different solution, you can also import via CSV or through our API. Full details are available here:...
I'm starting a podcast and want to initially use this to link transcripts. We haven't created a full website but do have a domain. Can I still create links with this tool with some amount of tracking outside of WordPress?

A: Hi! Thanks for your question. LinkCentral is a WordPress plugin, so it does require a WordPress site in order to work.
However, if you don’t have a full website yet, you can absolutely set up a very minimal WordPress installation on your domain and just use it as your LinkCentral hub for now until you have a complete website. But yes, you will need WordPress for LinkCentral to...
Hi! since all the data is stored in the DB i wish to avoid it for growing and for WP to be bloated. Questions: - Which data table is affected and where data is stored in the DB? -Can it automatically clean/flush analytics or there is a custom function to make sure things are kept lean? Thanks!

A: Hi, thanks for your question! I'll try to answer it in as much detail as possible:
LinkCentral uses the standard WordPress tables such as: - wp_posts and wp_postmeta for storing links (as they’re a custom post type) - wp_options for plugin settings
It also creates two additional tables: one for click data (statistics) and another for automated keyword linking.
Thanks, it's indeed interesting but the wp_postmeta and wp_posts would become huge. It's not easy but i think wp_postmeta and wp_posts have to be as much light as possible! How can we tackle that? Good stuff about orphan data clean!
LinkCentral uses wp_posts & wp_postmeta because it’s built as a WordPress Custom Post Type. This provides the benefits of WP's built-in features, extendability through plugins like ACF & Pods, and compatibility with dynamic data in theme builders. It’s an intentional architectural choice. The table size depends on your number of links but cleanup plugins could manage autosaves/revisions.
Sure, Metabox and ACPT (new feature coming soon) supports also advanced additional tables. Worth checking. Still i am happy to purchase and test. Last : i see an unlimited LTD plan on your site, will you run a BF deal on that package?
