Q: WordPress MetaData & WP to Telegram Compatibility

Hi! I’m interested in your Lifetime Deal for my music news portal (WordPress). I have a very specific workflow: I use a plugin called 'WP to Telegram' that automatically grabs the short URL of a post the moment it's published to send it to a Telegram Channel.

My questions are:

Does your WordPress plugin automatically generate the short link and save it as a 'Post Meta' (metadata) in the WP database?

Is it compatible with 3rd party plugins like 'WP to Telegram' to ensure the short URL is detected instead of the default long permalink?

Can I use my branded domain (e.g., ver.mydomain.rocks) for these automated links with no total limit on the number of links created?

Thanks!

A: Hi, thanks for your detailed questions!

-> Regarding automatic generation:
LinkCentral does not automatically create a short link when a post is published. Short links have to be created manually. This gives you full control over the slug, redirect settings, tracking options, and conditions before the link goes live.

-> About metadata and compatibility:
LinkCentral is registered as a Custom Post Type inside WordPress. All link data is saved in the WordPress database using standard post meta. Because it uses native WordPress CPT, it is generally compatible with third party plugins.

However, LinkCentral does not automatically replace the default post permalink or inject its short URL into a blog post's meta fields created by other plugins. If your WP to Telegram plugin reads a specific meta key from a blog post itself, you would need either:
- a small custom hook to assign the LinkCentral URL to that post’s meta field, or
- a workflow where the Telegram plugin pulls the LinkCentral URL directly.

-> Regarding branded domains:
There is no limit on the number of links you can create. The short links use the domain where WordPress and LinkCentral are installed. So if WordPress+LinkCentral is installed on ver.mydomain.rocks, your links will use that domain.

Hope that helps!
- Jordy
