Q: How does Invoicing and Payments Work
Its a little worrying that people are having trouble getting ahold of you but the MCP functionality is too tempting for me to not consider you anyway.
1. How does invoicing and payments work? I live in South Africa and either need payment gateways that support it or manual status updates for invoices that can be changed when i see payments come in?
2. How does your AI work, does it use a credits system or do you offer unlimited usage?
3. How suitable is this for a freelancer?

Regarding invoicing and payments, our invoicing feature is designed as a bookkeeping tool rather than a primary payment processor. You can manually update invoice statuses, link clients and projects to each invoice, and your clients will receive notifications through their own client dashboard. For payments, clients can pay directly from the invoice using linked gateways such as Stripe and PayPal, which you can configure in your settings. For South Africa, as long as your Stripe or PayPal account supports local transactions, this should work for you.
Regarding our AI, the AI Assistant has a daily usage limit that resets the following day, so you will always have access. All other AI features across the platform have no usage limits.
