Moderate Solution - Lots to Improve
While the app is a good solution to some things, such as the screen recording, it's not very convenient.
The editing has plenty of flaws - for example when cutting out scenes you have to manually drag the sections of the video to close the empty gaps. You have to manually adjust the end time of the project. The project size can change and I haven't found a way to change it back to the video size. There are volume issues (it blocks my computer from being able to adjust the volume).
Truth is I stopped using the editor, I just record and then use CapCut to edit because it's so much more convenient.

Apr 16, 2026Hi,
Thank you for your feedback and for giving ScreenToVideo a try.
We’re sorry to hear that the editing experience was not as intuitive as it should be and that some options were hard to find.
Regarding the gaps after cutting scenes, there is an option called “Ripple Delete” which removes the selected portion and automatically shifts all elements to close the gap, so no manual dragging is needed.
For adjusting the project length, you can use the “Trim End (project)” option, which will shorten the project to the current position of the playhead.
As for the project size, in the Project Properties under “Project Size” there is a preset called “Original Size” that will restore the project to the original video dimensions.
We appreciate you pointing out the volume issue as well — this is something we would like to better understand and investigate.
Thank you again for your review.
