Impressive
The site is intuitive and easy to navigate, but need to improve its onboarding process during the first slide creation (may need to prompt user on adding asset or brand). When creating a slide, it would be good if users are allowed to upload a file (image/text outline/existing slide) as a start instead of just creating a 'blank' presentation.
Secondly, the output is above average compared to other slide generators (excluding Gamma). However, I rate Nextdocs chat/editor as better than Gamma, Beautiful AI and other generators. It was able to analyse my 300+ pages document with ease, refined the outline twice and came up with a very satisfying output of 30 slides using top tier AI models, and this consumed 500+ credits which to me is acceptable. There are also a variety of output options and haven't encountered any bugs so far.
If possible Nextdocs can auto-embed presenter notes when exporting to pptx (similar to 'add notes' in MS PowerPoint) and add animation timeline (similar to Canva). Please allow integration with MS Onedrive.
P/S: Please give us free credits for video generations, so that we can test use-cases and may be tempted to upgrade to T3.
Overall, a great product.

Jun 15, 2026Thanks so much for the detailed review. This is extremely useful feedback.
I agree on onboarding. We need to make the first creation flow clearer, especially around adding files, brand assets, and examples upfront. The 300+ page document test is exactly the kind of workflow we care about, so it’s great to hear the output worked well for you.
Presenter notes, PowerPoint animation export, an animation timeline, and OneDrive integration are all great suggestions. We do support animations inside NextDocs presentations today, especially if you ask the AI to add them, but they do not yet export as PowerPoint animations. That is something we want to improve.
Also, please reach out to support about video generation credits and mention this review. We’d be happy to add some credits so you can test video use cases properly.
Thanks again for the thoughtful review and support.
