Not bad quality at all, but credit usage is way out of wack
I tried out NextDocs. It is not bad per se, not one bit.
There is so much to like about it, but making a simple presentation PDF cost around 1600 credits out of my 4000 monthly allotment on the Tier 3 plan.
So, despite the quality outputs and sleek interface, it is no good for scale or enterprise.
I can do this using other solutions for 1% of the credit consumption cost, so I had to bail out on NextDocs. Tons of potential here though but it just isn't economically efficient enough.

Jun 16, 2026Hi,
Thanks for the honest feedback, and I’m glad to hear you liked the output quality and interface.
One important note: NextDocs gives you control over the generation mode. We have Fast, Quality, and Premium modes, and credit usage varies a lot between them. For many everyday presentations, Fast mode is much more efficient while still producing strong results. You can also choose between different AI models directly, which gives you more control over the cost/quality tradeoff.
That said, we hear the feedback on credit usage. We’re actively improving token efficiency so users can create more with the same monthly credits, especially on larger documents and decks.
Appreciate you giving NextDocs a try. We’ll keep improving this quickly.
