Jun 29, 2026A: Yes, you can upload reference images.
At the moment, you can use up to 5 image references. These can be different views/angles of the same room, style references, lighting references, furniture examples, specific decor items, or even pets that you want to include in the generated image.
For example, you can upload a room photo and also upload a cat photo, then ask Paintit.ai to place the cat in the room. If 5 references are not enough for a complex scene, the best approach is to work step by step — first get the room/design result you want, then add extra elements like the cat on the sofa.
For a specific person, technically you can use a reference image, but please only do this with images you have the right and permission to use.
Regarding commercial use: full commercial-use rights are part of our Max subscription, and Max is not included in the AppSumo LTD. That said, we do not prohibit users on our plans from publicly using generated images on their own websites, social media, or portfolios. For broader commercial licensing, client delivery, resale, or business-scale usage, the Max plan or a separate business setup would be the right option.
