Couldnt get what I wanted
Nice idea, unfortunately:
1. I got some errors trying to recreate a design, yet my credits were still deducted (previous reviewer mentioned the same error)
2. I couldn’t get what I wanted, even after explaining it in the chat.
3. To recreate examples like those shown, you likely need to know design or architecture language, which makes it too technical for non-architects or interior designers. I used simple language to describe what I wanted, but the result was not what I expected. Dimensions, bed size, and furniture size seemed incorrect, even the AI added random things I didn’t ask for, like double ceiling lamps, when I only wanted furniture added.
4. It's unfortunate that there are no prompt libraries available where I can simply choose an exact prompt for the style I want and paste it in. I looked at their blog guides but found them too technical and long to read through when all I want is a preset prompt library.
This app could be useful for someone in interior design or architecture, but for a normal person without a background in these fields, you probably won’t get the results you want and may get frustrated. For me, personally, it’s not an app I would need to use daily or weekly, since it’s for my own property. In my case, I don’t think it’s worth investing in this app so I will be refunding.

A few points are completely fair:
1. Credits deducted after errors
This should not be a frustrating experience. We’re already checking cases where rendering errors happened while credits were still deducted. If you share your account email with us, we’ll review your usage and restore any credits affected by failed generations.
2. Simple language should be enough
Paintit.ai is designed so users can describe what they want in normal language, without needing to be architects or interior designers. But your feedback shows that we still need to make this much easier and more predictable for non-professional users.
3. Incorrect scale, dimensions, and random added objects
This is one of the hardest parts of AI image generation today, especially when users want precise furniture placement, object size, or room geometry. That said, we agree this is critical for trust, and we’re working on improving model accuracy, object-level control, and better preservation of the original room structure.
4. Prompt library / presets
You’re right. Blog guides are helpful for some users, but they are not a replacement for a simple in-product preset library. We’re adding more guided flows, examples, and prompt presets so users can choose a direction quickly instead of having to write everything from scratch.
We completely understand if Paintit.ai is not the right fit for your current use case, especially if you only need it once for your own property. But your feedback is very useful for us, because our goal is exactly to make the product easier for normal homeowners, not only for professionals.
