Misleading Credit System - Proceed with Caution

This plan has a major flaw that wasn't disclosed upfront: they charge 3 credits for every single search query, not just for successful email retrievals. This crucial detail was completely absent from the deal page.
Here's the problem: if you're doing prospecting work and searching multiple contacts (which is the whole point), your credits will drain incredibly fast. You could easily burn through your entire credit balance and walk away with only 100 usable emails. The math simply doesn't work in your favor.
This hidden cost structure makes the plan far less valuable than advertised. I'd recommend clarifying the true cost-per-email before committing to this service.

Thanks for raising this - it shows us very clearly where we need to communicate better. We’ve actually tried to document the credit model in a few places, but it’s clear it wasn’t obvious enough in your flow, and that’s on us to fix:

- A detailed credit breakdown (per action, per feature) in this doc (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Qk0kNb5EeSWg8-y_4lsoWLsgN6mz7UgjrZoPHrvoTeM/), which we’ve been maintaining and updating over time.
- The same credit logic reflected on our pricing page and inside the “Learn more about credits” link in the upgrade / billing area, and the AppSumo FAQ page.

We also understand the concern about credit burn for prospecting use cases. The team is already adjusting the credit cost per action to make searches and workflows more efficient, and updating the in‑product messaging so the cost per action is easier to understand upfront.​
