Allow Transactional Emails Please
I got Tier 1 specifically to try the API integration. While the interface is clean, the API itself is far too restrictive for a complete setup. It currently lacks the hooks needed for basic transactional triggers like password resets, which makes it hard to use as a primary tool. I’d love to see the API expanded to handle these use cases; once that’s implemented, this would easily be a Max Tier product for me.

Apr 13, 2026Thanks for the feedback! We've recently expanded the API significantly with better documentation and more endpoints. That said, SendFox is designed for marketing email (newsletters, automations, campaigns) as we've mentioned clearly in reviews, the Q&A, and From the Founder area rather than transactional email like password resets — tools like SendGrid or Postmark are better suited for that use case. Being a transactional sender requires additional legal responsibilities, and sender registrations, and that's not our goal at this time.
