I've been using Slashit for less than a month, and honestly, it has become an indispensable tool for my daily work. Previously, I wasted a lot of time copying and pasting my drafts into Gemini to adjust the tone or rephrase my emails.

As I work in Human Resources, I'm constantly in touch with vendors, clients, and colleagues. This involves managing many repetitive processes and responding to practically identical messages, with only the recipient's name changing.

Slashit has simplified this entire workflow by centralizing these tasks, saving me from having to constantly open the Gemini chat or deal with lost conversation context.

Despite its great utility, there are areas for improvement: the integrated language model is often slow, which has forced me to use my own Gemini key. Even so, the system fails approximately 20% of the time, requiring me to retry the action.

Although this percentage is considerable, Slashit has added so much value to my work that I've decided to keep it. Therefore, I'm giving it four stars; I trust it will continue to evolve to offer a more stable experience. Thank you for existing.

El producto estuvo bien, es interesante las plantillas dinámicas. Pero así mismo las siento lentas, no siempre se activan. Un caso particular es que si activo la plantilla en whatsapp por ejemplo con un /hola se habilita, pero al minimizar el wsp para ver algo que me olvidé, se cierra el pop up, lo cual es normal, pero al escribir de nuevo el /hola ya no se activa, y no hay ninguna ventana abierta, mi única solución es reiniciar el app de slashit y wsp para que vuelva a funcionar. En este caso eso es vital para mí, ojala pueda mejora.

Actualización: Lograron mejorar la velocidad del app en windows, la verdad lo compré con poca expectativa, pero realmente me está ayudando mucho en mi trabajo con el seguimiento a clientes, el error que presentaba antes se solucionó también

It's been handy for quick replies and rewriting stuff without the hassle. Solid buy for the price. Wished you could have BYOK on tier 1 though... but for the price I guess it's fine.

I do recommend they provide more tutorials and/ or youtube videos for use-cases.

I have been a Text Expander user for a few years and was always annoyed by how little development this app has seen in terms of UI and usability. It feels outdated, and there were a few things that really bothered me. That’s why, when I discovered the Slashit app, I decided to give it a try, and so far, so good.

The design makes the app really easy to understand and get started with. One area for improvement would be to clarify the difference between templates and shortcuts. Once you’ve used the app for a while, it becomes obvious, but at the beginning, it took me some time to understand the difference.

The text replacement for shortcuts is fast and satisfactory, everything’s good on that front. However, the templates feature needs some development to be fully usable. Sometimes the template popup doesn’t get focus when triggered, which is frustrating, especially since the different options can only be selected with the keyboard, not the mouse.

Also, once you create the choices, they can’t be reordered, which is inconvenient.

There are a few annoyances like these here and there, but the team is very active on their Discord channel, which gives me confidence that the platform is under active development and issues like these will be fixed soon.

I haven’t tested the AI capabilities yet, so I can’t comment on them—but I didn’t purchase this product for those features anyway.
