So, I am a first-time business owner (freelancer) and I have no clue about SEO or any marketing in general. If you're just like me, this review may help you!

These are the tools I have bought in AppSumo for SEO and I am using: WriterZen (1 Code), ZeroRank (Tier 2), and SnowSEO (Tier 4). I feel the 3 complement each other very well and use all 3 in my workflow. Keep in mind, I picked these tiers based on the fact I will always be a one-person team with one brand, and it's all based in how I work best. If you need more, you may need to adjust tiers.

This is my review for SnowSEO.

Stellar onboarding. Super easy and quick: you simply put your website and it automatically finds competitors and the core topics your website talks about (for keyword and SEO). They have a help center too, where you can find info on absolutely every feature and tool, so even for newbies like me it's super easy to set up and use.

They also have a next steps section which constantly updates with new things to do, so it feels like you always have someone by your side (super important when you aren't an expert and may not know what to do!)

SEO tools are so threatening (hello Google Search Console!) so it's a breath of fresh air to finally have something that doesn't make me want to cry lol. The interface is clear, everything is separated clearly and labeled using words that non-experts will understand. The graphs are clear, and it's not overflooded with useless information. All the information is something you'll need and use.

First, integrations. They integrate with pretty much any tool, which is very impressive. They also connect to privacy-friendly tools, super important if you're based in Europe or somewhere where we have very strict regulations.

There are also so many features, I don't know where to begin. I got Tier 4 to track every AI provider. Credits are generous too. In the SEO side, you can ask SnowSEO to analyse your full website and even easily index the pages (which is super annoying to do in GSC, so a big plus for me). You can also track keywords, audit your website, and connect GSC to see the analytics in an easy to understand way rather than the absolute mess GSC is (seriously, I do not understand Google Search Console and SnowSEO has helped me understand what GSC is trying to tell me).

In terms of AI visibility, you can see what AI says about you. You can track prompts and it will show you the results. I was very impressed that SnowSEO could tell the difference between my brand and others with similar names (because I am a new brand, AI confuses me with others but SnowSEO identifies that clearly).

SnowSEO also creates a content calendar with ideas on what to post everyday, which is super helpful! I write the articles manually because I prefer to do so but you also have the option for SnowSEO to write it for you and even publish them automatically.

You also have a lot of extra tools, such as one that generates sitemaps, checks for backlinks, etc. I seriously cannot list them all in here, there is so much and all are useful. And of course, new tools in the making like Backlink Outreach.

Competitor research is also great, it has shown me brands I didn't know about that are direct competitors of me. The only downside is I can only have 8 brands as direct competitors, but that doesn't seem to stop SnowSEO from tracking a lot of other competitors in results.

Keyword research is the only one that I am finding a bit less accurate, but I think it could be because it's still being built and also because my work is a bit niche (B2B startup branding and design support). I'm excited to see where this goes!

Conclusion:
I 100% recommend getting SnowSEO. I am loving it so far, the team is responsive and I feel the tool is easy to use for everybody, including non-experts, and I feel that thanks to it, I will be able to rank better both on Google and AI search.
