Never worked, wasted time
Unfortnately, I had the same experience as many others here. I never figured out how to set it up to give me a summary. The first 3 reviews with 5 stars seem to be incentivized, as all reviews after that are 3 stars or lower. To be honest: the product sounds quite promising, but the fact, that so many users did not reach to get it working (including me) is just worth 1 star (or even 0).

Jun 24, 2026Hey, thanks for being honest — and sorry Spellar didn't click for you out of the box. You're right that the setup experience needs to be smoother, and that's something we're actively working on.
On the summaries specifically: Spellar processes your recording after the meeting ends, so the summary shows up in the app (and exports to your connected tools) once processing is complete — usually within a few minutes. If that never happened for you, something likely went wrong in the flow and we'd love to help figure out what.
As for the early reviews — those are from real users in our beta community, not incentivized. We understand the skepticism though, and the best way to earn trust is to make the product work reliably for everyone, including you.
