Does what it says it does -- with a few rendering quirks
First the good news, it does what it says it does! I did a screen recording with voice and then had VideoMule transcribe it and then add an AI avatar narrator. Really there was nothing to "edit", because it came thru the first time. The video timeline editor looks a lot like others I have seen, so anyone can pick it up easily enough.
Now the problems I had
1. Local Render fails with a brief popup error for a 2.5 minute video no matter which computer I use. I guess it's Cloud Render for me
2. It took a lot of processing time to do the 2.5 minute video, I think a lot of that was with the avatar generation. I probably won't use that feature again.
3. I was disappointed that it was not a true Screen Recorder. It did not record what I was doing in Microsoft Access desktop application. Was this not part of the description? Maybe I misunderstood. As such there are very long pauses where nothing seems to be happening on the video because I was switching between the desktop app (which was not recorded)

Edited Oct 23, 2026Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback! We're glad to hear that VideoMule worked well for transcription and AI avatar narration, and that you found the timeline editor easy to use.
We're sorry you experienced issues with local rendering and the long processing time. We understand how frustrating this can be, especially when working with a short video.
Regarding screen recording, VideoMule is designed to support recording different types of screen content, not just browser content. It seems there may be an issue with capturing activity in desktop applications such as Microsoft Access. We recommend reaching out to our support team so they can investigate the issue and help you resolve it.
Additionally, we recommend trying screen recording through our Chrome extension to see if it helps resolve the issue. In some cases, security settings or firewall restrictions may prevent certain desktop applications from being captured correctly, which could be contributing to the issue you experienced.
We appreciate you highlighting these points. Your feedback helps us understand where the experience can be improved, and we'll take your concerns into consideration.
Thank you for giving VideoMule a try!
