pretty basic
I really love some of this dev's other apps, but deftform hasn't really lived up to my expectations. It's just not as easy to use or feature-filled as other form apps.

A true gem, that overdelivers
I grabbed the lifetime deal on AppSumo and I’m genuinely happy I did.
Deftform feels surprisingly polished for a tool I expected to still feel a bit rough around the edges. It doesn’t have that “beta” feeling at all. The UI is clean and well thought-out, and the whole thing just feels carefully built.
What I like most is that it seems like the team is focused on making one thing really well instead of trying to cram in everything. The pricing felt very fair, and overall it gives me the impression that the founders actually care about building something useful rather than just flipping a quick deal.
It’s a simple, solid form tool with good UI and automation. Nothing flashy, but it works really well. Glad I found it.
I came across the deal again recently and saw one negative comment sitting among a bunch of 5-star reviews. The negative one felt unfair and didn’t match my experience at all. That bothered me enough to finally leave my own review — good teams don’t deserve to get dragged down by unwarranted criticism.

Very good
First of all, I just want to say the tool looks really great and has a lot of potential. The overall idea is strong, and the product already feels very promising.
I noticed a bug related to the phone number field validation and wanted to share it in case it is helpful.
Right now, users can enter letters into the phone number field and still submit the form, which does not seem correct.
Then, if a condition is added requiring the field to be numeric, the behavior flips the other way: even when a valid phone number is entered, the form shows an error and cannot be submitted.
So at the moment, the field seems to fail in both directions:
it allows clearly invalid input
but it also rejects valid input when numeric validation is enabled.
I thought it was worth flagging because it could affect form reliability quite a bit. If there's a way to fix it asap please let me know since I couldn't find support contact.
Aside from that, the tool honestly looks excellent and I can see a lot of potential in it.

Absolutely Perfect!
This is one of the best finds here in AppSumo! Definitely worth every taco, and would give it more if I could.
From CNAME options, to multiple workspaces, webhooks and API - it's full featured in every meaningful way, and is extremely straightforward to work with, while remaining incredibly customizable to suit nearly every use case for our workflows. While some additional features can be purchased separately (removing backlinks, custom SMTP etc.), they can be purchased separately as add-ons for very reasonable prices to support the project. I think it's a great approach to creating a sustainable product, and I'm sure others will reasonably agree on that point.
They seem active in development, and are responsive to questions and feature requests, and are actively adding great options while ensuring their current features work seamlessly - well done!
I highly recommend it, and is an incredible deal to find it here in AppSumo - I wouldn't delay in grabbing this deal, as I'm sure you'll be happy to have Deftform in your toolkit.

Very Good 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮
Excellent tool, with extensive settings and many advanced features. It offers the best value for money available for forms. (The advanced settings may be a bit confusing for beginners.)
Some of the features I really liked:
👍 Embedded form
👍 CSS customization
👍 Form submission notification
👍 Script support (works with Google Tag Manager, but not with GA4 Analytics)
👍 Anti-spam/bot protection
and many others
I am very satisfied with the product—congratulations to the developers.
5 tacos 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮
