**Recommendation**

I tested Katteb for article generation, and the quality of the content is good. However, I found a critical issue with the direct publishing feature. Articles are published using the wrong blog template, creating formatting and presentation problems on the website. I reported this issue to the developer, but it has not been resolved.

Because of this limitation, I do not recommend using Katteb for automatic publishing. While we could use it to generate article drafts and manually upload them using the correct template, this removes the main benefit of automation, adds unnecessary manual work, and reduces overall efficiency. In my opinion, this workflow is not productive for the company.

My recommendation is to either wait until the publishing issue is fixed or evaluate alternative solutions that provide both high-quality content generation and a reliable publishing process.

The gap between then and now is real. The article output is noticeably more coherent. My first 1,500 words articles in French needed minimal editing. The old version would wander. This one stays on topic.

What still sets Katteb apart from most AI writers is the fact-checking engine. The Credible Writer and Fetch & Rewrite features aren't gimmicks at all. When I need factually grounded content (and in coaching and professional development, I do), having sources baked into the output saves serious time.

The WordPress export and auto-image insertion are workflow wins. Not glamorous, but they remove friction.

What still needs work:
- Output needs a light editorial pass before publishing. Don't expect to click and post.
- Word credits run out faster than you'd expect, especially on long-form.
- SEO scoring and meta generation are still missing. You'll need a companion tool like Frase for that.
- No Chrome extension or mobile app yet, which limits flexibility.

Bottom line: The founder is clearly active and listening. The response rate on reviews and the pace of updates show that. If you used the old version and bailed, it's worth another look.
