I purchased Rhino based on an AppSumo recommendation. The claim that it matches the performance of Wispr Flow couldn't be farther from the truth. Approximately half the time, the text does not appear in the targeted box, necessitating manual pasting via the clipboard. Speech recognition is inadequate, particularly in German. While performance may differ in English, German users who don't want to pay a monthly subscription for Wispr Flow are better served by Apple’s native dictation feature, which works more reliably and does not require installing gigabytes of data. I used Rhino for two hours and then it was uninstalled. 12 bucks down the drain. Every time a software alternative on AppSumo promises to deliver the exact same thing as a significantly more expensive software, I end up disappointed.
