My Experience + Detailed Demo Video

If you’re curious about how Teable actually works in practice, I highly recommend watching this video ---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlbFk2MXj2s

You’ll see step-by-step how to build an app with Teable and get a clear idea of how user-friendly and efficient it is. It helped me a lot when I first got started!

As someone with limited coding experience but tons of app ideas, Teable AI has truly been a game-changer for me. I wanted to build a couple of web apps quickly—one using a Google Sheet as the backend—and couldn’t believe how seamless it was with Teable’s no-code platform.

The AI interface is intuitive, and I managed to have two working apps in under ten minutes, with almost zero technical hurdles.

What impressed me most is how Teable turns database management into something anyone can handle, not just developers.

The drag-and-drop interface feels familiar, like working in a spreadsheet, but with real app-building power behind it. Connecting my data sources took minutes, and the options for dashboards, lead capture pages, and even more complex tools are impressive.

Hi basantkumar405,

Thank you for the review and for taking the time to create a demo video. It's a great resource for anyone looking to see Teable in action!

Two working apps in under ten minutes with limited coding experience is exactly the kind of story we love to hear. That's the vision behind Teable: turning database management into something anyone can pick up and run with, no matter their...

Great product and dashboards, but credits vanish fast during large spreadsheet cleanup

I bought Teable on AppSumo Tier 4 (6,000 credits/month) and I really like what it can do. The tables feel solid, and turning data into clean views and dashboards works well. The overall direction is strong.

My main use case was importing a big Google Sheets file where my wife and I tracked expenses for over 10 years. The sheet is messy in a very normal, real-life way. Columns are not consistent, categories change, and the formatting is all over the place. I wanted to move it into Teable, clean it up, make it consistent, and then build a dashboard on top of it.

The problem is how quickly the credits ran out. I spent two evenings importing, restructuring, and testing things. Even after I decided to only keep the last two years of data, my full 6,000 credits were gone. I get that this is a heavy task with a lot of data. What surprised me was how hard it was to predict the burn rate. One moment you are setting things up, the next moment you are locked out of the AI features until next month.

What I want most is better guidance and clearer credit visibility:

* Better onboarding for large imports and messy spreadsheets, with a simple workflow that helps you avoid burning credits.
* Credit estimates before you run a big action, even a rough range.
* Usage warnings at 10/25/50/75/90%.
* A simple way to see which actions tend to be expensive (import cleanup, restructuring, dashboard building).

Custom models are a nice option, but that is not my main point. I bought the lifetime deal because I want to use the included AI and credits effectively. Right now it is easy for a new user to burn through a month of credits without realizing it.

I am giving 4/5 stars because the core product is strong and I think this can be fixed. With better onboarding and credit transparency, this could be a 5/5.

Hi pod_applications,

Thank you so much for your honest and detailed feedback. Regarding credits, we've heard the community's concern that the credits included in LTD plans may feel tight. We understand that credit usage is typically higher during the initial setup phase, when you're building your database structure, configuring automations, and generating your first apps. After that, ongoing...

Used it with real data and I am Impressed.

Everything felt modern and uncluttered. I didn't feel overwhelmed, even with complex databases.

Watch my Detailed Video Review:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QesTfDE5SdI

Pros:

No Learning Curve: I literally chatted with it like a person. "Add a status field with options for New, In Progress, and Done", and it appeared.

Unlimited Core Features: Unlimited bases, unlimited tables, unlimited API calls, unlimited share views. This removes so many artificial limits that other tools impose.

Cons:

Quick consumption of Credits.

Definitely a must-have - 6 Tacos

I have tried AirTable, NocoDB, AITable, Bika, etc., and so far Teable is the best I have used.

Pros:
- A lot faster compared to aitable and bika
- The concept of "base" makes it easy to use for multiple clients
- Authority matrix is a killer feature. makes it very easy to manage multiple users.
- Really good for concurrent user collaboration
- Automation is very good
- Chatting with AI is fast and accurate(at least for me)
- Creating web app is very good. I created a very nice looking dashboard site for 300 credits.
- The API documentation is comprehensive and interactive. A good sign that a product has a long term goal and it could survive for a long time.

Cons:
- Too low storage. 100GB for tier 4
- "Database connections per space" is not included in the plan
- I find the name terrible (sorry)

Overall, It's simple enough for non-technical people, but still has the advanced features for a developer such as myself. If the product survived for a long time, probably would be my best purchase ever.

Hi codegino,
Thank you for the thorough comparison and detailed breakdown — it's clear you've done your homework across many tools, and we're glad Teable stood out.

Regarding the cons you mentioned:
Storage: 100GB for Tier 4 is designed to cover most use cases. We'll keep monitoring real-world usage and adjust if needed.
Database connections per space: This feature is for self-hosted deployments...

Teable a solid platform and a gem

Teable is a solid platform, but your experience will really depend on how you plan to use it.

I’ve noticed quite a few people saying the 6,000 monthly credits feel low. From what I’ve seen, that can be true, especially if you’re trying to use Teable as a full app builder or doing a lot of image generation.

For example, I built this simple app: https://appyj5dvlbkl1pdz94c.teable.app/, and it used roughly 3,000–3,500 credits, which is about 50 to 55% of the monthly allowance.

That said, the platform itself is very user-friendly and easy to get into. One thing that genuinely stood out to me was how quickly you can build useful automations. I set up a receipt-tracking workflow using just a simple prompt, and now whenever I upload a photo or PDF of a receipt, Teable automatically extracts and fills in the relevant fields in my base. That part was honestly impressive.

In my opinion, Teable really shines when it comes to tracking data and building automations inside your base. For database-driven workflows and internal operations, it works very well.

I also appreciate how transparent the team has been about the credit model. One thing I’d love going forward is a bigger template library, right now the options feel a bit limited, and more ready made templates would help user get value faster.

Overall, Teable is a powerful tool for the right use cases. Just be mindful of how your workflows consume credits and you’ll get the most out of it.

Hi yubarajtpa,
Thank you for the thoughtful and balanced review — and that receipt-tracking automation use case sounds like a perfect example of what Teable does well.

You're right that credits can feel higher during the initial setup phase, especially when building apps with AI features like image generation. Once your bases and apps are set up, day-to-day usage is typically much lower —...
