Great captions!
My video editor can only do basic subtitles, so I picked up this caption tool, and it has been a great decision.
The range of subtitle styles is impressive, and every style has fully customizable colors.
In my tests with German videos, the captions were generated in German and the whole text was transcribed flawlessly.

Strong product with very good support
I bought CaptionBolt with a focus on lyric videos for my songs. Unfortunately, I had an error in the transcript of my first song, missing about 30 seconds from the subtitles. I contacted Matt by email and received the first response within an hour. Since the first proposed solution was not yet successful, I sent Matt my song file for analysis. Within just 24 hours, Matt and his team added the "Deep Scan" function in the text editor. It worked with this (except for a few small text corrections, but that´s fine). In addition, they added the animated previews for the captions in the video editor – which makes it much easier to choose the numerous caption styles. For me, this is almost perfect support (unfortunately, many providers underestimate the importance of fast and good support – especially if they are still at the beginning).
Otherwise, CaptionBolt is simply a strong product for me. The UI is simple and intuitive. The setting options are numerous and the workflow is simple and fast. The video editor fulfills all the necessary functions, but is not comparable to professional video editors (e.g. FlexClip). But CaptionBolt is not made for that either. Looking forward to the desktop application.
There are still a few minor improvements, but they don't diminish the positive overall impression.
If you work with videos and want to add professional subtitles easily and quickly and want basic editing functions in the video editor, you should definitely go for CaptionBolt.
I wish Matt and his team continued success and hope for sustainable product development so that I can continue to use CaptionBolt for a long time to come.

Very user friendly
The platform runs more smooth than others I’ve compared it to. It correctly recognizes 90% of the words in my native language, and I can easily edit the rest. I found two features missing: the ability to adjust the timestamps for specific sentences, and the option to export subtitles without the video (with a transparent background).
