Credits are not logical
Personally, I have been playing with the software for three weeks. I even requested too many features in order to understand and see how this can turn out, but the main issue that I am facing is a credit issue. It's eating and bleeding credits like crazy. I have been using it, and it's almost consuming 100 to 200 credits every single day. The majority of the credits are going on AI chats, even though it's an unlimited conversation. I am not sure what that means, but it seems like credits are just being eaten away. Credits are being charged for messages not sent. Credits are being charged for almost everything.
I have tightened the prompt so much with Claude and other AI software to ensure that we don't have any sort of leakage, but it seems like getting a lifetime deal is good as long as you keep fueling it with credits, which can cost $10 to $20 per day. The calculation and breakdown are everything is so illogical; it doesn't make sense. I really don't have any idea how this actually is going to function in the long run.
To be frank, I am in love with this software. The only problem that I am facing right now is the credit issue. Let's say, if I don't have credits, how will tasks be made? How will automation be done? There should be some kind of leverage. I understand we all need to make money, but if we are fueling it with the hype with usage, there should be some transparency in regards to credit. I am not sure a lot of people might not speak about it because they don't really know how software actually works, but as much as I am trying to look into every type of software and usage and understanding, I believe the very unfair part currently here that I'm seeing is the credit issue.
I don't mind supporting the platform by buying credit on a regular basis, but if I'm being charged for a credit for almost everything, why am I even using the software? Why did I even get the lifetime deal? Why did I even look into so much? It is a little bit upsetting to see this, and I hope that you guys can look into this. When you say that it is the cheaper version, how is it cheaper? I don't get it. I really wish that you can reconsider the credit, and a lot of people will jump on this bandwagon, because people who are using it properly understand that credits are good, but if it's consuming so many credits, it's really harmful for the long run.

Jun 30, 2026Hey, appreciate you being honest, and genuinely glad you love the product. The credit thing is a fair question, so instead of hand-waving it I pulled your actual account before writing this.
First, the part that matters most: the AppSumo deal you just activated moved you onto our Max tier. That's our cheapest and most predictable AI tier at 0.25 credits per action (2.5 cents). Before this you...

Separates Wheat From Chaff For Us
We are a very niche directory and this acts as our intake manager to make sure that we only add qualified businesses. This does all the grunt work and then passes the data to our listing team. Great tool for our use case and they are adding a lot of channels. The support has been great so far and the tool is pretty straight forward. I do not know about other use cases but this works like a charm for us and hope the dev keeps the passion on this app. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only app in this price range that does whatsapp automation and I have seen many apps in the whatsapp ecosystem during my 10+ years here on Appsumo as well as in the IM scene if you know what I am talking about. I actually rarely recommend tools these days and this is one of my rare recommendations.

I don't get the 5-taco reviews. Here are the numbers they leave out
Purchased based on the reviews. Good concept, and the connectors work. The Meta and SMS integrations are the real value here, and I want to be fair about that up front.
I'm honestly not sure why this is sitting at five tacos across the board. I had to dig into the handful of critical reviews to get the real picture, and once I ran my own numbers it got clearer. So here are the numbers the 5-taco reviews leave out.
I brought my own Claude key. This tool burns through Claude tokens like the US government burns through taxpayer money. After about an hour of testing and building, before a single real customer conversation ran, I'd spent roughly $100 in API tokens. For context, I built an entire agency dashboard in Claude Code, connected to Google, Meta, GA4, and GSC with customer logins, for $30 total to build. It runs at about $4/month with over 100 clients on it. DM Champ burned 25x that monthly cost in a single hour of setup.
Sit with those numbers. $30 once, $4/month, 100+ clients, versus $100 to poke at a demo. That's the gap between owning your stack and renting someone's wrapper.
I know the response: use the in-house credits instead, they're ~4x cheaper than Claude. Sure. But that just means the "bring your own key" feature, the one several buyers bought this for, is the expensive path, and the cheap path is the one where you keep buying their credits. Either way there's a meter running on a product sold as a lifetime deal. That's the pricing structure as designed.
Strip away the connectors and what's left is a Claude wrapper with a sales prompt. That's not a knock on the idea, it's just what it is under the hood, and worth knowing before you build a client offer on top of it.
The website is slow and the app is slow. This is a lean, fast-moving operation and you can feel it in the polish.
And "support" is a knowledge base. That's it. No support email, no live chat, no ticket system. You get pointed at their docs and told to figure it out. For a tool you're meant to resell to clients, having no real support channel behind it is a serious gap, and it reinforces the lean, vibe-coded feel of the whole thing. Other buyers have reported the same: a Tier 5 customer said their technical questions got one-line "check the YouTube videos" replies, and most went unanswered.
And here's my honest concern, stated as opinion, not fact. This has the shape of a get-rich-quick AppSumo play built to "exit" in 12 to 24 months. We've all watched it happen: a tool gets popular, the money comes in, and somewhere down the line it quietly winds down while buyers are left holding non-refundable lifetime deals that no longer have a company behind them. I hope I'm wrong. But I'm pricing that risk in, and you should too before you build client infrastructure on top of this.
Two tacos. The connectors have real value, and on a better foundation this would be a strong tool. But between the token burn you carry yourself, no real support, and the platform risk, I can't tell another agency to build on it. The alternative you could build yourself costs almost nothing to run and can't be exited out from under you.

Jun 27, 2026Hey Matt, appreciate the detail, and the credit on the connectors. Let me put a few numbers next to yours.
First, real credit where it's due. Building an agency dashboard wired into Google, Meta, GA4 and GSC with client logins for $30 and running it at $4 a month is a genuinely good build. You clearly know what you're doing.
But that is a reporting dashboard. It reads data and shows it. DM Champ...

Using API...
Earlier you said that we can connect each agent's Instagram (Business or Creator) and Facebook Page, and the AI bot replies to anyone who DMs them. Does that require a subscription API, right? And using that same means, can I execute that also on LINE APP (that green icon LINE social media SaaS)? Is that difficult, and how do I set that up or hack it into existence? TY

Jun 25, 2026API is included with the appsumo deals. You can read all the documentation here: https://help.dmchamp.com/
For LINE messenger we also posted a video in skool.

AI sales agent that actually closes deals in your DMs
I grabbed DM Champ to automate my client DMs on Instagram and WhatsApp and honestly it surprised me. The AI actually sounds human which is rare. It qualifies leads, handles objections when people say stuff like too expensive, and even books appointments without me having to stare at my phone all day. Setup was super quick and I can whitelabel it under my own brand which is huge.
My engagement is way better, leads are actually qualified now, and I am not glued to my phone constantly. It is not perfect since some weird edge cases still need a real human but for 24/7 DM automation that closes deals it works great. If you run an agency or do freelance work and want to resell AI sales agents to clients the whitelabel feature makes this totally worth it. 6 Tier purchase all the way!
