Firstly, I'm still a novice where AI upscalers are concerned. But I've done enough research to see the value in this one.

Secondly, I did reach out to the owner using the support email he provided in his responses to comments here but never heard back. I did that about a month before I purchased it. I wanted to make sure this upscales large enough for my needs. I do want to add that about 20% of the emails I send go to spam. So maybe he never saw it. But I like to be transparent in all things.

Lastly, in spite of not hearing back I went ahead with the purchase about 2 weeks ago anyway. Why? Because it's an amazing value to have lifetime access to a true AI upscaler and it works the way they say.

I've used it a bit since purchasing and it's worked exactly as it should. It can upscale to double your original or 4X your original. You choose the radial button. I need a very specific output size in my work so I start with an image a quarter that size and upscale 400%.

Some notes:
The maximum this will go to is 16,000px on either side. Just an FYI. Many folks don't need to go that big. That's 53.33" x 53.33" in 300DPI if you're printing. PRETTY BIG. I only need a 10,800 long side but I did test larger files and they are definitely capped at 16,000px

Your starting image cannot exceed 10MB. Mine do not. But when I was playing with the larger images it stopped me on one that was 10.2MB

The maximum batch size you can do at one time is currently 8. I'm Okay with that. I sometimes have 10 and just split them.

The output image shows 72DPI when I inspect it (in case that matters to anyone) but from the research I've done this is just semantics as long as the pixels are correct? Again, I'm still learning and providing all my notes in case it helps anyone looking to buy this. The pixels are definitely correct and the image works perfectly for my needs. I do run it through a python script in an automation process I have which changes the actual DPI to 300 since all the required pixels ARE there. Maybe this is how all upscalers work?

I'd like to repeat that this is an AMAZING value. If you need to regularly upscale images and have them upscale correctly there are other options out there. But they all cost a heck of a lot more and are subscription based. This product provides exactly what I need for my daily work and will pay for itself in just 6 months. At that point The subscription based product would leave me with an ongoing monthly bill. Consider me a very happy customer!

I see so many rated bad because of the batch being 8 but you have to understand that they are giving you unlimited access to both upscaler and creative upscaler and they work really really great. Magnific is very expensive and this upscaler is the first lifetime deal outside of one other company that gives you creative upscaler unlimited for lifetime. This is the deal of the century and an excellent deal. A creative upscaler is great for people who want to take an ai image and make it look more realistic and thats what this offers for people deep into ai. I am impressed beyond words. Also the other benefit is i confirmed with the img upscaler team you can use the images you upscale as long as you own the underlying image or you generated the ai image yourself, you can sell the upscaled images commercially. Other companies like topaz want to cherry pick. I don't think people realize because of these reasons i listed why this is such a great deal.

I really wanted to love this deal, but I came away feeling pretty disappointed. After going through everything carefully, it’s hard to see what true value this offer brings. You can still upscale images for free on both their website and app without purchasing this deal, which made me question what exactly I was paying for.

I initially assumed this would unlock an upgraded experience across both platforms, but it turns out it only affects the web version — and even then, the main change is being able to process images in small batches rather than one by one. And by “batch,” it’s not a large number — just 8 images at a time. Since upscaling isn’t something most people do in high volume, this upgrade didn’t feel very impactful to me.

I even reached out to their support team, hoping maybe I was missing something. After some back-and-forth, I realized this really is the full extent of the deal. I appreciate the concept, but overall, I don’t feel the value is there for the price.

We do hundreds of images per day. My team has said it is saving us around 85% of time it was taking before. So super happy about that. If we could get a little higher number of pics in a batch that would be excellent.

8 image batches taking us around 70 seconds to upload and process and download. So my 100 image totals that used to take 2 hours are down to 12-15 minutes max.

Again, if I could get this to do batches of 15 or even 10, every moment counts. It would be super helpful.

I am a professional photographer of over 35 years. I’ve only used Img.Upscaler to upscale and sharpen images that I am restoring- and WOW and that to the fact I can batch images!!! The quality in the results are very good and dependable… Super happy that I grabbed this deal -have no complaints. I’m sure all of the other features work just as great, I haven’t dove into much more.
